ReCycle is a very easy-to-use application designed to manage a recycling operation operated by local authorities, BIDs, etc. Based on a central management control console, and mobile handheld devices, ReCycle allows a recycling operation to define the daily pickup and delivery schedules, define pick-up routes, and create daily work schedules, and allows for the insertion of ad hoc pick ups, deliveries, secure pick-ups, etc, allowing the recycling company to offer its clients improved levels of service
Defining routes and schedules
Example:
A pick-up route has been defined and published, and clients have already left their recycle bags on the pavement ready for pickup, and the mobile team is already out performing the tasks. Meantime a client has phoned up and has requested an ad hoc Back of House pickup.
Managers can look at the screen and quickly see where the team are in the schedule, and can add the new task to their pick-up schedule. The mobile team receive the new task as they are performing their routine pick-ups. If required, such as for secure pick up, etc, then the handheld device can accept client signatures for inclusion onto any documentation.

Managing Waste Transfer Notes (WTNs)
Managing Secure Waste pickup
Example:
When a secure pickup task is requested, the manager creates the task on his control screen, that is then automatically downloaded to the handheld device of the mobile staff. When attending the designated site, the team check the number of bags they have picked up, and load them into their truck. They also get a client signature stating that x bags were picked up. This signature is sent to the database and forms part of this current secure pick-up transaction.
At the depot the team now have a notification that x number of the incoming bags are secure, and need to be destroyed, at the same time ReCycle has also sent an email to the client stating that x number of bags have been picked up by the team, and is given a unique reference number.
Other tasks can be undertaken, including additional secure pick-ups, etc.
When the team arrives at the depot, there can be no confusion about the number of secure bags that have been picked up in total, and these can be handled in the appropriate manner.
Once destroyed then a “Certificate of Destruction” is filled out and kept on record. At the same time ReCycle also marks this certificate with the same unique reference number sent to the client above, and forwards a copy of this certificate to the company in question, closing the transaction.
